3F - FIT FABRICANDO FABER

A start-up company 3F-Fit Fabricando Faber was founded in September 2017.

3F is a small company dedicated to the development of technologies for assisting persons with special needs. The company is making efforts to translate R&D results into innovations.

A team of professionals led by

Lana Popović Maneski - CEO

PhD in biomedical engineering since 2011 from the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering. Former assistant professor of biomedical engineering at the State University of Novi Pazar and an adjunct professor at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade Serbia. Researcher at the Institute of Technical Sciences of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Published over 30 papers cited more than 740 times and two patents. Co-author of three textbooks and a book chapter. Reviewer of several journals on the SCI list, and external reviewer for the European Commission. Member of IFESS. Fields of interest and expertise in: functional electrical stimulation, neurorehabilitation, wearable sensors and actuators, rehabilitation robotics, electrophysiological signal processing.

Ivan Topalović - software engineer

PhD in biomedical engineering since 2020 from the University of Belgrade, School of Electrical Engineering. Fields of interest and expertise in: biomedical engineering, acquisition and analysis of electrophysiological signals, man-machine interfaces.

Scientific advisor

Dejan Popović

Member of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Academy of Engineering Sciences of Serbia, and a foreign academician of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Professor at the University of Belgrade. Professor Emeritus at Aalborg University, Denmark. Former professor at the University of Alberta, School of Medicine, Edmonton, Canada. Former Professor at Department of Neurological Surgery, School of Medicine, and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering of the University of Miami, Florida. Former Professor of Rehabilitation Engineering at the University of Aalborg, Denmark. The results of scientific work are in more than 500 publications, of which 92 papers in journals from the Web of Science list with more than 7500 citations, h = 48. He is the author of more than 30 chapters in encyclopedias and similar monographs. He is the author of 11 textbooks. He has led or is leading a total of 26 doctoral students, and has mentored more than 50 master’s theses. He has been an invited lecturer at more than 200 conferences and universities during his 42-year career. He is the president of the ETRAN Association of Serbia. Fellow Founding Member EAMBES, IEEE, IFESS - Founding Member, EMBS - Biomedical Engineering Society.

  • Creating a partnership with doctors and medical institutions for developing new instruments and protocols that correspond to the needs of clinicians and patients;
  • Developing a network of distributors throughout the world for reaching as many as possible clients;
  • Complying with requirements and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality management system;
  • Satisfying the industry standards and conforming to legal and regulatory requirements;
  • Securing the projects with reliable risk management and necessary safety precautions;
  • Responding to clients' and users' needs and terms promptly, but never compromising the quality of the final product;
  • Requesting feedback and adjusting future practices accordingly.

While each employee is responsible for upholding the quality standards, the Management representative monitors the system and, together with the rest of the management, implements and administers new quality practices and standards.

Through these measures, 3F-Fit Fabricando Faber aims to deliver a reliable service, meet clients' expectations, and create long-term benefits for all stakeholders.
